Thanks Endier - just what I was looking for. And very helpful to have the reply in English as well as the German names of things. I enjoy military training and survival and at the moment only have UK kit but hope to expand what I have, so you have chosen the right type of things for my interest..... and I understand: how 'complete' is 'complete'!

Thanks Stoevel - yes that would be VERY good, and great help. I am 'only' 170cm tall and not as slim as you, so I suspect that few pieces of clothing will fit me. But I shall be happy to try!

I have seen in another thread how the German sizing works, but you are absolutely right: buying by mail order is not easy.
